Jay Cartwright
Jay Cartwright has over 20 years of experience in every aspect of construction, including laborer, foreman, superintendent, estimator, project manager and business owner. He began this impressive record in Wisconsin, where he was Project Manager for a large commercial contractor, managing such projects as federal reserve buildings, senior living centers, industrial manufacturing plants and retail malls.
Later he founded and operated his own concrete company in Bozeman, which he expanded to divisions throughout the country and annual sales in the multi-millions. After selling this business in 2000, Jay contracted as a project manager for large-scale construction/utility projects, focusing on scheduling, estimating, crew tracking, and financial reports. He also founded Cartwright Homes Inc., a design and build contractor in southwest Montana. Jay has developed a local commercial complex and co-owns a retail store in Livingston. He’s an active volunteer for Belgrade Fire Department currently at Captain rank, with thorough training including building codes and pre-plans.
Jay has a degree in Construction Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a business and engineering minor. |
